Magnetometer

Magnetometer is a free and ad-free Chrome extension that utilizes your device's magnetic field sensor to measure ambient magnetic fields along three axes (x, y, and z). Designed primarily for compatible Android devices, the extension displays readings in micro-Tesla (uT) and indicates device compatibility on startup.

Users can customize alert settings with audible alarms and vibrations triggered by high magnetic field detection, adjusting sensitivity through an intuitive swipe interface. The extension also offers calibration through simple gestures like shaking or waving the device in a figure-eight pattern to ensure accurate readings. Permissions include vibration control for alerts and wake lock to prevent the device from sleeping during use, delivering reliable and continuous magnetic field measurement.
