Project Spotlight Hope (Mobile Phone App) features Resources and Information for parents of children with cancer ...By parents of children with cancer. Use this app to quickly and efficiently plug into local childhood cancer resources available to help your family at all stages of the Pediatric Cancer Journey. 

This free App furthers our ability to support families during a Pediatric Cancer ordeal by providing parents with much-needed information, connection to resources, and inspiration. By quickly and efficiently being able to plug into local resources, families will ultimately be able to affect better outcomes for the child with cancer ---whatever stage of diagnosis ---as well as parents, siblings, and extended family members.

From financial help to rides to the doctor, this app provides information on how to connect to 1000's of resources that exist to help families through a pediatric cancer ordeal. The app is location sensitive, so whereever you are, you can see the organizations and resources that are available to you nearby. Zoom out, to expand your search to encompass the entire United States.

After logging into the app, click the "Resource Directory" Icon on the "Splash Page" to be taken directly to the directory.

Click a category that you are interested in, and a map populated with location markers of nearby organizations within that category will appear. Hover over the marker to see the name of the resource. Click the name to see a full description of the benefits and contact information. 99% of the Resources include a click-2-call phone number as well as a link to their full website. To go to the website of a resource, just click on the small "world icon" in front of the word "website" within the listing.

You'll also be able to create notes, share information with others as well as recommend resources to be added to the directory. Other helpful features can be found under the "Main Menu" tab. Be sure to browse all the pages under the Main Menu section for additional information.

The mobile app is one of the programs provided by BraveHearts for Kids to support families touched by Pediatric Cancer. It reflects years of learning and sharing among the Pediatric Cancer community and also features children that have survived against the odds. It is our goal that knowledge and wisdom from the experience of living through a Pediatric Cancer ordeal will become a beacon of hope full of practical real-world advice for families still fighting their own battle with childhood cancer.
