Poshan Sudha is a government-backed program launched in Gujarat aiming to improve the nutritional status of pregnant and lactating women, especially in 10 backward blocks across Dahod, Narmada, Chhotaudepur, Mahisagar, and Valsad. This initiative addresses the critical need for increased nutrition during pregnancy and lactation, supporting fetal growth and successful breastfeeding. The program provides one-time full meals along with Iron and Folic Acid (IFA) and calcium tablets to reduce undernutrition and micronutrient deficiencies.
