INSIGHT LUNG is an innovative augmented reality (AR) Chrome extension designed to enhance medical education by providing an interactive 3D exploration of the human lung. Following the success of Insight Heart, this app allows students, physicians, and patients alike to visualize and understand lung anatomy and common conditions such as Asthma and COPD in stunning detail.

Using ARCore technology, users can scan their physical environment to place a highly detailed virtual lung without the need for markers. The virtual assistant ANI guides users through different lung states, enabling rotation and scaling of the lung model for close study. This immersive experience makes complex medical concepts accessible, engaging, and easy to comprehend anywhere – whether in the classroom or at home.
