Career Trail

Performance review season arrives, and the question is always the same:
"What did I actually do this time?"

Career Trail is a very small log that keeps the answer ready.

■ This month
- Set this month's goals, then record the work tied to them as it happens.
- Work unrelated to any goal goes in under "Other work".
- One line a day is enough. A one-line result and an evidence link are optional.

■ Archive
- Set your own review period. Companies measure on different calendars.
- Filter by period and type to pull up only the records you need.
- See everything you collected by year and month, plus the goals you finished.

■ Export
- Copy the records for the period you chose and paste them into a document or Notion.
- Save them as a Markdown file for later use.

■ Career
- Rolls up a year: activities, goals completed, and active months. Years come from your records.
- "Copy for AI" hands a year of work to your own ChatGPT or Claude, ready to become a portfolio.
- Preview the document, or save it as an MD file.

■ Backup
- Save the whole log as a JSON file and restore it whenever you need.
- The previous state is kept before any restore.

■ Free use and ad removal
- The download and core features are free. The free version shows a banner at the bottom.
- A US$2.99 one-time in-app purchase permanently removes ads and can be restored.

■ What this app will not do
- It does not turn activity counts into a performance score. A number stays a number.
- No account, no sign-in, and no server upload of your work records. The records you enter stay on your device.

■ Made for
- Anyone who wants evidence gathered before review season hits.
- Anyone who tried a work journal and found it too heavy to keep going.
- Anyone whose review period does not match the calendar year.
