Recetas: tu recetario privado

Recipes is a personal recipe book in the cloud. Save your recipes, find them
when you need them, and have them at hand while you cook.

It was born out of a specific problem: recipes end up scattered among notebooks,
screenshots, and saved links, and just when you need one, it's nowhere to be found.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Save your recipes with ingredients, steps, and photos.

• Search for them by name or ingredients, combining criteria: it's useful for
deciding what to do with what's left in the fridge.

• Adjust quantities to the number of people you're cooking for. It's not just a simple
multiplication: it rounds to amounts that can actually be measured in a kitchen.

• Import a recipe by pasting a website address. The
form fills out automatically, and you review it before saving.

• Read the recipe with the screen on: it doesn't turn off automatically while you cook,
so you don't have to unlock your phone with flour on your hands.

YOUR RECIPES ARE YOURS

Every recipe starts out private and only you can see it. Sharing it is an explicit and reversible decision, and it only makes it visible to other registered users of Recipes,
never to the public or search engines.

When you share a recipe, others see its content, never your email address.

DESIGNED FOR THE KITCHEN

Few screens, clear text, and no frills. The important thing is finding the
right recipe and being able to read it even with your hands full.

PRIVACY

• To create an account, you only need an email address and a password. Nothing else.

• No usage analytics or tracking cookies.

• Photos are cleaned of metadata upon upload: the GPS coordinates that your
phone embeds in each photo—usually those of your house—are deleted before
anything is saved.

• Your recipes and photos are stored on a server in Spain.

• You can delete your entire account from Settings, instantly and without asking
anyone for permission.

ADVERTISING

The app displays ads at the bottom of the recipe section and in the search results. There are no ads while you're reading a recipe, which is the screen you use while cooking, nor are there any full-screen ads anywhere.

The first time you use the app, we'll ask if you accept personalized advertising. You can decline and change your mind at any time in Settings: the app will handle the same thing in both cases.

ACCOUNT REQUIRED

Recipes is a closed community: there is no anonymous access to any content. You can create a free account within the app and verify your email address.
