Train Ride is an idle railway tycoon set on the Indian Railways. You start with
a steam engine, one General coach and three stations. You finish with a line
that runs the length of the country — if you can keep the platforms clear.

RUN THE LINE
Tap DEPART. Watch your train work the route. When it pulls in, a gold fare
bubble rises over the engine and you tap to collect. That is the loop, and it
is the whole game in fifteen seconds. Everything else is a decision about how
to make it pay more.

THE BOTTLENECK IS SEATS, NOT MONEY
Passengers travel General, Sleeper or AC, and they will only board a coach of
their own class. Buy the wrong seats and the right passengers pile up on the
platform, colour-coded and waiting, while your train leaves half empty. No
number on a screen tells you what is wrong with your railway. The crowd does.

A REAL ROUTE
Twenty-four real stations across nine regions of India: the Deccan, the Western
Ghats, the Konkan Coast, Mumbai Suburban, the Gangetic Plain, Bengal, the Deep
South, Rajputana and the Himalayan narrow gauge to Shimla. Each region runs a
mechanic nothing else has — monsoon slows the ghats and raises fares, rush hour
floods the Mumbai platforms, melas surge the pilgrim stations. The railway
clock keeps running whether you are watching or not.

BUILD THE RAKE
Eight coach types, each a different bet. Sleeper coaches for volume, AC 3-Tier
for fares, a Pantry Car that pays every coach behind it, a Vistadome that only
earns on scenic legs, a Parcel Van for the empty runs. Every coach adds weight,
and weight costs speed — so eight locomotive tiers, from a WP steam engine to
something that can haul all of it.

THEN STOP PLAYING
Hire a TTE and fares collect themselves. Hire a Loco Pilot and the train runs
itself. Double the track, electrify the line, buy a second rake. Your railway
keeps earning while the app is closed, and it hands you the takings when you
come back. This is an idle game that expects you to leave.

EVERY DAY, A NAMED TRAIN
One real service each day — the Deccan Queen, the Konkan Kanya, the Grand Trunk
Express. Run its full length that day and the badge is yours, dated, on the
museum wall forever. Miss it and you lose a collectible and nothing else. No
streaks. No punishment for having a life.

YOUR STATION
Pick the station you actually come from. It earns more, forever, and it goes on
your ticket.

RETIRE THE RAKE
When the line is built, retire your locomotive to the Rail Museum, bank
Heritage Points and start again faster. The plaques stay. So do the badges.
