Jal Sarothi (JJM Assam : FHTC)

The Jal Sarothi Chrome extension supports the Jal Jeevan Mission in Assam by facilitating the collection of comprehensive data related to Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTC). It helps gather critical information including household tap infrastructure, tap functionality, water quality perception, water user's committee details, Field Testing Kit results, Swach Bharat Mission questionnaire responses, GPS location, and images of FHTCs.

With over 25 lakh FHTCs installed across Assam, the extension enables effective monitoring to ensure every tap meets the mandated water quantity of 55 liters per capita per day with prescribed quality as per BIS: 10500 standards. This platform empowers SHG members under ASRLM, Assam to assess and uphold water infrastructure reliability and fosters Jan Andolan for water management and awareness within the community.
