Amber Grid_* is a number-merging puzzle built around strategic movement and score progression on a 4×4 board. The game begins with tiles containing the values 2 or 4, and the objective is to combine matching tiles to create larger numbers. In Amber Grid, all tiles move simultaneously in one of four directions: left, right, up, or down. When two tiles with the same value collide, they merge into a single tile with a higher value. After every move, a new tile appears on the board, continuously changing the available options and requiring careful planning. The primary goal is to create the 2048 tile. Players can also continue beyond this milestone and focus on achieving the highest possible score. Every move affects the board layout, making positioning and long-term strategy important for maintaining available space and creating larger combinations. The game ends when the entire board is filled and no further moves are possible. At that point, the final score is calculated and displayed. Results greater than zero are stored in the Records system, allowing players to track and compare their best performances. Record data is preserved even if the player exits to the menu or closes the application, ensuring that completed progress can be retained between sessions. When the application is minimized or the player switches to another task, the game automatically enters a paused state and displays a pause window. After returning to the application, gameplay continues from the same point once the pause window is closed. Amber Grid combines simple controls with strategic decision-making, creating a puzzle experience focused on tile merging, efficient board management, and score improvement.
