I can not get my son permission for a app even though I have been trying for an hour

This app is horribly designed. The items that I want to modify could be on one of many tabs. It takes so many clicks to find the thing. and then you cannot control everything from the app. Some things have to be modified from the kindle and some things from the app. I should be able to change all settings from either place. I have no desire to have one more garbage app forced onto my phone. Predatory Amazon praying on my love for my child to force me to download this trash.
