Travel Smart - Expense tracker

The app makes managing of expenses hassle-free, particularly for frequent business travelers but is useful also for non business trips with family, friends or even travel buddies.

The main intent is to create refund reports to be presented to employer or customer for reimbursement of expenses incurred in a business trip.

The app supports worldwide currencies because the app caters to worldwide users and business trips can also be across nations.

The end user gets to add expenses on the go which can be edited later with more details, or to rectify wrong entries. Category types provision for expenses.

Provision for archiving of customer data also available.

Provision to change user details which is email and name.

If the end user forgets entering expenses, the app also sends reminders to enter expenses for the day.

Trash and restore functionality for trip data.

Features that make the app experience smooth
The important feature of offline usability is enabled for reasonable number of operations to enable the user to have a nearly seam less experience when in low network or no network areas in reasonable time limits.
User data is stored on cloud which enables user to login from anywhere on other device and get synced with same data again.
The app honours user privacy thus provides voluntary deletion of data from the user's end.
Users can also make use of smart-scan in the app and save time with entering details of an expense when they have a hardcopy of the receipt. This makes expense tracking on the go even easier.

Creating Customer
A customer is the business stakeholder, this could also be the business employer through whom the end user is travelling. There is provision for multiple locations under one customer as a business stakeholder could have international presence.
Starts trip
The default landing page is the trip page where a new user is prompted to start a trip.
Default landing page shows current active trip if the user has started one.
Managing of trips
The main intent of the app which is expense tracking is done under the relevant trips. There is always and add expense button on the landing page for Active Trips.
Expense tracking can be done by:
Manually entering the details and expenses in the Expense UI
Uploading e-receipts
Using the smart scan feature on printed receipts
Finishing trip
For active trips there will be a button to
Expense tracking by timeline
The end user can revisit current and previous expenses by swiping on to the timeline tab.
