Users find the Altice Amplify app frustrating due to poor connectivity, frequent app crashes, and lack of sound settings like an equalizer. Although the speaker sounds decent with good bass and a compact design, the app's difficulty in connecting and controlling the speaker, unreliable Alexa integration, and poor customer service experiences overshadow these positives. Repeated need to reinstall the app and constant disconnections lead to a negative overall experience.

App is very difficult to use and often fails to connect to the speaker.
No equalizer or sound adjustment settings in the app.
Frequent disconnections and app freezing occur during use.
Alexa integration is unreliable and results in errors or endless loops.
App requires repeated installation or reinstallation to function properly.

Aww man this app is useless. Just stick to whatever streaming service you use to control your music. No equalizer setting for this bass heavy mini monster (amplify) which sucks cause as heavy in weight and as compact as the amplify speaker is you want to believe there's more to it than what it is. Then again, it was a freebe from the cable company for staying with them when they adjusted our plan.

Completely worthless app... I've contacted customer service multiple times just to get a brush off and "sorry bout your issues but there is nothing we can do from our end" You would think after spending over $400 on a product of theirs it would work or at minimum the company would be helpful... waste of money... period.... nobody buy this piece of garbage
