Casewire: Logic Deduction

Casewire is a logic-deduction puzzle. Every case is a grid of suspects, locations, times, objects and motives, and a set of clues that constrains them. Mark what cannot be true, mark what must be true, and keep going until only one story is left standing. Then name it.

EVERY CASE IS PROVABLY SOLVABLE

Before a case ever reaches you, it is checked twice. It has exactly one solution, and every single clue is load-bearing: take any one of them away and the case stops being solvable at all. A third check throws out any case that could only be cracked by trial and error. Nothing rests on luck, and you are never asked to guess.

A REAL DIFFICULTY CURVE

More than 60 cases across six chapters, from a 3x3 grid you can read straight off the clues to 5x5 cases where you have to assume something, follow it, and watch it break. Each chapter introduces exactly one new way of thinking. When the chapters run out, the Cold Case Archive keeps generating.
