Areye is a simple, community-driven mobile app that brings real-time tracking to the informal public transport sector—taxis and buses that millions rely on daily. Whether you live in a township, village, or city, Areye helps you see nearby taxis and buses on the map, know where they're headed, and when they’ll arrive—all in real time.

- In order to see taxis and buses nearby, you have to be signed in as a Rider. You will only be able to see taxis and buses if someone who signed in as a Sharer, shared from within a taxi or bus bear you.
- Only as a Rider, you have to click on any vehicle icon that you see to learn more about that taxi or bus, and where it's going or where it's from.
- When you're signed in as a Rider, you will only be able to click any vehicle icon if there are Sharers who have shared near you. If there are no sharers, Riders will not be able to see any moving vehicles.
