Weathervane Arrows: Escape

Weathervane Arrows is a calm arrow escape puzzle, a relaxing tap puzzle game for your brain, set in an Edo woodblock print workshop: washi paper, red hanko seals and hanging tanzaku strips. Every board is a picture made of arrows. Tap an arrow and it slides off the board the way it points, if its path is clear. If another arrow is in the way, it bumps and comes back. Find the right order, clear the board, and a piece of an old Japanese woodblock print appears underneath.

HOW TO PLAY
• Tap an arrow: it leaves when nothing blocks its path
• A bump never ends the game: fewer bumps, more stars
• Look first: the first tap shows the arrow's path, the second tap sends it, so you never release the wrong arrow
• Pinch with two fingers to zoom in on big boards

1,503 BOARDS IN 100 HALLS
Each hall reveals one public-domain ukiyo-e print, piece by piece: views of Mount Fuji, bridges and boats, snowy villages, birds and flowers by Hokusai, Hiroshige and other masters. Finished prints go into your gallery with their title, artist and date.

A DAILY PUZZLE, TWICE A DAY
• Daily Board: the same board for everyone today

• Each daily board opens part of the month's print in the calendar; finish the whole month to complete it
• Missed a day? Play it from the calendar at any time

THE "SO CLOSE!" FEELING
Boards are tuned so that a careful player finishes with one bump or none. Every tenth board is a Master board, and a breather comes right after it.

HELP WITHOUT PRESSURE
• No lives, no countdowns, no energy
• Three hints every day; a hint always shows an arrow that can leave
• Lantern: lights up every arrow that can leave for five seconds (optional video)
• Restart any board whenever you like

EASY ON THE EYES
Plain mode (no effects, single-color arrows, a calm board), three text sizes, high contrast, generous touch areas and vibration you can turn off. Calm music and soft sound effects.

FAIR AND HONEST
Every board is checked by code: each has at least one order in which all the arrows can leave. "How is it fair?" shows each board's fingerprint and checks it again on your phone.

Plays offline, no Wi-Fi needed. Free to play, with optional rewarded videos (more hints, the Lantern, double XP, saving a streak, trying a style for 24 hours) and a small banner at the bottom of the screen in its own space: no pop-up ads, no ads between boards and no in-app purchases.
