Lightning Detector

This app will let you know how far away the lightning strike was. It has a manual mode where you can press "I saw lightning" and then "I heard thunder," and it will calculate how far away the strike was. It also has an automatic mode where the app uses the camera to see the flash and the mic to hear the thunder, then calculates the distance. It also keeps a history of successive strikes to determine whether the storm is getting closer or farther away.

Manual mode: Press "I saw lightning" and then "I heard thunder" to manually calculate the distance from the lightning strike. Indicates whether a storm is getting closer or farther away.

Automatic mode: Uses the camera and mic to look for lightning and listen for the boom to calculate the distance from the lightning strike. You can adjust sensitivity settings on the "Settings" tab to fine-tune your experience. Indicates if a storm is getting closer or further away.

History: Keeps track of the last 30 days of lightning strike data from manual and automatic modes. Indicates if a storm is getting closer or further away.

Settings: Keep screen awake, Metric/Imperial, 12h/24h time.
