▶️ HOW TO USE THE HIDDEN CAMERA DETECTOR
1. Pick a detection mode from the home screen.
2. Hold your phone 5–10 cm from the surface you want to check.
3. Move slowly along walls, shelves, mirrors, vents, sockets and smoke detectors.
4. Watch the reading: a sudden jump means metal or electronics are close.
5. Switch to Camera Detector in a dark room and look for small purple or white dots — that is an infrared LED.

💡 WHY TWO SENSORS BEAT ONE
A lens is passive. The electronics behind it are not: motors, magnets and metal housings bend the magnetic field around them, and night-vision models fire infrared light your phone can see but your eyes cannot. Sweep with the magnetic detector first, then confirm with the infrared camera detector.

⚠️ GOOD TO KNOW
This spy detector works with the magnetometer and camera built into your phone, so it finds devices that contain magnets, metal or an active IR LED. Large metal objects, speakers, pipes and power lines will also raise the reading — that is normal, and the tips section explains how to tell them apart. Detection quality depends on your phone's sensors.
