ACCURACY

All calculations follow the NASA Mars24 algorithm used by JPL
engineers during rover missions. Mars time is derived from
Terrestrial Time (TT), Julian Date, and the Mars Sol Date formula —
the same standard used for Curiosity and Perseverance.

NASA engineers actually live on Mars time during the first 90 Sols
of rover missions. After 36 Sols, a full extra day accumulates
compared to Earth — that's how different Mars time really is.
