Dr. AI includes a real-time Live AI Assistant that runs as a foreground service while actively in use. When a doctor starts a Live Session:

• The app uses a FOREGROUND MICROPHONE service to continuously capture voice input, enabling hands-free dictation and real-time AI conversation during patient consultations — even while multitasking.

• The app uses a FOREGROUND SCREEN PROJECTION service (MediaProjection) to capture periodic screen frames and send them to the AI model, allowing it to visually analyze medical documents, patient records, lab results, and radiographs that appear on screen — providing context-aware clinical support.

A persistent notification is always visible during an active session, giving the doctor full control with Mute, Camera, and Stop buttons. The foreground service stops immediately when the doctor ends the session. These services are core to the Live AI Assistant feature and cannot function without foreground access, as Android terminates microphone and screen capture when an app moves to the background.
