Trip Fuel Cost Calculator

Fuel Price Calculator works out what a journey will cost you in fuel before you
leave. Enter the route, the distance, the current price per unit and your
vehicle's average mileage, and the app returns the total cost along with how much
fuel the trip will consume.

HOW THE CALCULATION WORKS

The maths is simple and visible: distance divided by your vehicle's average
(KM/L) gives the litres required, and that figure multiplied by the price per
unit gives the total. Because you supply the fuel price yourself, the estimate
stays accurate wherever you are and whatever the pump rate happens to be that
week.

WHAT YOU SET

- Vehicle type: car, bike, truck or bus
- Fuel type: petrol, diesel or CNG
- Start and end location for the trip
- Distance in kilometres
- Price per unit in rupees
- Your vehicle's average in KM/L

RESULT SUMMARY

Calculate Cost opens a summary sheet with the estimated total in large type, the
route, and a breakdown line showing the distance, the average, the fuel type and
the price used. Choose Done to clear the form and jump to your history, or
Dismiss to stay on the form and adjust a value.

TRIP HISTORY

Every calculation is saved to your device automatically. The History tab lists
each past estimate as a card showing the vehicle icon, the route, the fuel type,
the distance, the date and time, the litres consumed and the total cost, so you
build a running record of what your regular journeys actually cost.

- Contact Support opens your email app with our address filled in
- Delete All Records clears your entire history after a confirmation prompt

BUILT FOR EVERYDAY USE

A dark Material Design interface with a royal purple accent, laid out across
three tabs, Home, History and Settings, so nothing is more than one tap away.
Number fields open the numeric keypad, and the form checks your input before
calculating, so you are told what is missing rather than shown a wrong figure.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE

Trips are stored in a local database on your device. There is no account, no
sign-in and no analytics, and your trips and locations are never uploaded.
Uninstalling the app or using Delete All Records removes the data.

Useful for commuters comparing routes, riders budgeting a long trip, drivers
keeping a record of running costs, and anyone who wants a figure before filling
the tank.
