Match-3 Gems is a fast, colorful swap-and-match puzzle game built for quick, satisfying play sessions. Dive into an 8x8 board full of glowing gems, swap tiles to line up matches, and chase your personal best before the clock runs out.

HOW TO PLAY
Match-3 Gems uses simple, one-tap controls anyone can pick up in seconds:
Tap any gem on the board to select it.
Tap a gem directly next to it (up, down, left, or right) to swap the two.
If the swap lines up 3 or more gems of the same color in a row or column, they clear and you score points.
If the swap does not create a match, the gems swap back automatically, so there's no penalty for experimenting.
Cleared spaces are instantly refilled as gems above fall down and new gems drop in from the top.
If the new arrangement creates another match on its own, it clears too, chaining into a combo for bonus points.

GAME MODE
Every round is a 60 second timed challenge, with a countdown timer and live score counter always visible. Clear as many matches and trigger as many chain reactions as you can before time runs out. When the timer hits zero, your score saves automatically and you can start a new round right away.

GEMS AND BOARD
The board is an 8x8 grid containing 6 distinct gem colors, each rendered with a faceted, glossy diamond design and a soft drop shadow. Every gem is drawn directly in the app, so there's nothing extra to download, keeping the install size small.

LEADERBOARD
Match-3 Gems keeps a local leaderboard, stored on your own device, that saves your top 10 highest scores across all your play sessions. After every round, your score is checked against this list, and if it qualifies, it's added and the list is re-sorted from highest to lowest. Open the Leaderboard from the home screen anytime to see how your recent rounds compare to your personal best.

HOW TO PLAY SCREEN
For new players, the Home screen includes a dedicated How to Play page that walks through the board, swapping gems, making matches, chain cascades, the timer, and the leaderboard, step by step with simple icons and short explanations.

DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE
Match-3 Gems is lightweight and responsive, with smooth swap and clear animations and no loading delays between rounds. The interface uses a clean, minimal layout with a vibrant purple and teal color scheme.

OFFLINE AND PRIVACY FRIENDLY
The entire game runs offline. No internet connection is required to play, and no account or sign-in is needed. Your scores are stored locally on your own device only. Match-3 Gems contains no ads and no in-app purchases, so gameplay is never interrupted.
