Features & Capabilities

ALFABOOKS is a smart audio book player. It is developed for NAS Synology users or ALL audiobook fans. It is based on streaming of audio files, no download of big files needed. It does not contain any book. Player has option to listen your local audiobooks.

Steps:
1. Create folder with your favorite audio books on your Synology
2. Set website of your NAS and login credentials
(QuickConnectID is allowed only with format:
http://YourQuickConnectID.direct.quickconnect.to:port
External port must be forwarded in your router to your NAS.)
3. Select audio book and tap to play

IMPORTANT: Your Synology DDNS web address MUST CONTAIN:

PRIVACY NOTICE:
1. A secure and latest multiple encryption algorithms (2022) is used to keep login details in the mobile device.
2. No sensitive data is sent from your device except error codes needed for development.

Does work but interface is very clunky and there are quite a few bugs that are annoying and make it unusable. Shame because what is good could be great.

Great app, thanks a lot to developer Steven, for adding playback speed future 🙏. Regarding the Bluetooth headphones it is working but very buggy. 1. When take off headset, and then wanted to play again it says sound is streamed to headphones but it comes from phone and to fix it I need to put back them in case few times than sounds come again from headphones. 2. not able to pause by taping also taking headphones off do not stop the sound. Thanks for quick response 👍🙏🤩
