Users love Harmonoid’s clean UI, open‑source/ad‑free stance and built‑in lyrics support, plus good format/library handling. Repeated complaints are lack of folder browsing and folder‑shuffle, missing playback features (play all/shuffle/repeat/sleep timer), absence of an equalizer, limited lyric editing/sync tools, and occasional scanning or launch issues on some devices.

Lyrics can be out of sync and there is no way to edit timing or lyrics within the app
Initial music scanning/launch problems on some devices (stuck searching or app failing to open)

I really wanted to try this app for the lyrics feature, but it has no folder view. I have a lot of music on my phone organized by folder, and I'd like to play it that way. Sometimes I want to play Classical, other times Jazz or Rock. When I select shuffle, it should only shuffle the songs in that folder. I'll reinstall it if you ever get these features.
