MG Connect Global

MG-Connect is an application developed to support generalised Myasthenia Gravis (gMG) patients manage their symptoms and disease progression over time. Features include: -  Learn more About MG-  Fill in the MG-ADL, a clinically validated interview-style assessment tool used to assess the severity of Myasthenia Gravis (MG) symptoms-  Reference a personalised dashboard of MG-ADL Scores. The MG-ADL tool evaluates the ability of MG patients to complete basic daily activities such as speaking, combing hair, or rising from a chair, based on their relative weakness in bulbar, respiratory, limb, and ocular muscle groups. The application will store the results submitted over time and display a personalised dashboard, that can be exported as a PDF. See note below for more information on the MG-ADL Dashboard. Full Privacy Notice:This application, MG-Connect, has been developed and commissioned by Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease (“Alexion”, “AstraZeneca”, “We”, “Us”). The purpose of this application is to support Generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG) patients track their symptoms over time. gMG symptoms can vary from day to day. Painting a clear picture of how they affect the patient's quality of life over time is the best way that the patient and the doctor can ensure that you receive the best care possible. The application will collect the following personal data from the user: full name, age, phone number, and gender. The application will also collect details about health condition through the MG-ADL Survey to enable the functionality to track symptoms over time and develop personalised reports. Such information will be provided by the user, can be adjusted at any time, and will not be processed or stored by us. All personal and health information supplied by the user through this application will not be stored on any server, only on the user's device. The only information we will receive will be on usage metrics, including referral codes and how many reports are generated at an aggregate level, to report on adoption of the application.If the user uninstalls the application, all information submitted through the application, including MG-ADL submissions and personal information, will be deleted from the user’s device.
