I can't connect to the app. I've uninstall and re-installed but it won't let me login, says there's no Internet connection. I've tried 'forgot password' and it says an email has been sent to the address but nothing came through. Pile of junk, avoid all crane connect products

This app is no longer functional. When installed on a new Android phone, the getting started process fails with an error, "There is no connection to the internet please correct" -- while every other app on the phone working fine!

I've had this app for several years & it worked ok. Just installed on a new phone & it wants every permission on my phone! Call logs, contacts, camera, location etc etc It has accessed these permissions several times and I only use scales!! If I don't give it it constantly crashes. Avoid!!!!!!!!!

App says data transferred successfully, but it doesn't show up in the app. Also got a pop-up message "Crane Connect closed because this app has a bug." I cleared the cache as suggested, but that didn't work. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times.

Now there is no bluetooth connection. Scale is useless. 1/19/2022 Please update this spp. Since android updated to vs12 the scale no longer connects to my phone. Changes users gender, won't store settings, when you delete a reading it it will bring it back along with everything else you have deleted in the past. Don't bother using this app.

Just loaded app after some years away. The app was only just satisfactory before but now it looks like it was designed by a 3 year old. Crane logo overlays data field and menu tab obscures big chunk of screen. Data fields extend beyond white background. Data is there but screen presentation in either orientation extends beyond screen field of view and will not resize. Awful awful awful.

I had similar problems like mentioned here, that my Nokia 8.1 Android phone was not connecting to the AICDSCALE1 Bluetooth scale. The troubleshooting and the FAQ on the website does not really help with the turn off, reset the phone and scale, turn off/on Bluetooth recommendations. But actually after multiple tries I managed to make it work. My solution was to go into Android settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps > pressing the ... menu and show system > and in that list for all the Bluetooth, Bluetooth MIDI Service and Crane Connect app I did a Clear Storage and Clear Cache options. After this I relogged with the Crane Connect app, and it worked, it was able to connect to the scale finally. FYI I did not allow the app to access phone, contacts, SMS, files, media etc. but allowed the location service and Bluetooth access. Maybe the location is required as well for it to work. After this long torment of trying to connect to the scale, actually the apps seems to be pretty OK at first glance, it is easy to use and works well.

Crashes all the time, won't sync, I don't think they have updated their software in years. I wish I could add a negative review!!! On average the app crashes over250 times a day, it high time Crane sorted this out, I have all of their equipment and its totally worthless as I can't record any readings on the useless app.

Useless. Simply doesn't pair with their own device. Requires no end of permission to invade my privacy. Not happy Finally got it to pair I found it confusing and was not in the correct "All settings" area. I've tested it with the Speed and Cadence sensor on my turbo bike and it works fine The next challenge - how to export data to Strava. The packaging claims it can do this but cannot find any mention of it beyond that.

This app was fantastic up until the latest patch. After christmas I had to delete and reinstall as it refused to pair with the watch. This fixed the problem until end February when even after reinstalling will not pair with the watch at all. I am really disappointed and will be purchasing another brand.
