With the Key to Your City, you can report problems in your city with just a few taps. Broken sidewalks, potholes, broken streetlights, piles of garbage, parking problems, or noise… Take a photo, confirm your location, and send it.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Take a photo — The app analyzes the photo with AI; it prepares a title, description, and category suggestion for you.
2. Confirm your location — You mark the location of your report on the map.
3. Send — The report is forwarded to the relevant district or metropolitan municipality according to your location. Institutions registered on the platform can view and respond to the report from their own panels.

PRIVACY
• You decide how your name appears: full name, initials (A*** Y***), or nickname. Initials are the default. • You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app. • Location is only used when you create a report or want to see those around you; • No location tracking is done in the background.
• The camera and gallery are only used for reporting photos and profile pictures.
• The microphone is only used to measure sound level when the Decibel Meter screen is on; no sound recording is done and no sound data leaves the device.
• Faces and readable text (e.g., license plates) are automatically blurred in uploaded reporting photos.
• You can report inappropriate content and block disruptive users.
• You grant permissions for international data transfer and commercial communication separately during registration, and you can revoke them at any time in Settings > Privacy and Permissions.

IMPORTANT
City Key is an independent citizen participation platform; it is not an official application of any municipality, governorship, or public institution and does not act on their behalf. Notifications are forwarded to institutions registered on the platform. For emergencies (fire, health, security), please call 112.

You can view notifications, the map, and leaderboards without creating an account. To create notifications, you need a free account with SMS verification using a Turkish mobile phone number.
City Key is for users 18 years and older.
The application is currently designed for provinces and districts in Türkiye.
