GhostKey

GhostKey is a floating hardware-key replacement for Android devices with broken, unreliable, or hard-to-press buttons.

GhostKey uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to perform the actions you tap in the floating bubble. Depending on what you enable, GhostKey can trigger Back, Home, Recents, Power Menu, Sleep (screen off), Screenshot, and selected volume controls.

If you enable Suppress Broken Keys, GhostKey can also intercept the selected hardware key events so faulty buttons do not keep triggering unwanted presses. GhostKey also checks keyboard visibility so the bubble can stay out of the way while you type.

GhostKey uses overlay permission to display the movable floating bubble. The accessibility service is only used for the features above, only after you enable it in Android settings, and can be turned off at any time.

GhostKey does not collect, store, or transmit screen content, typed text, or personal data through the accessibility service.
