Aksara Batak

Aksara Batak is a Chrome extension for reading, writing, and designing with the five Batak scripts: Toba, Karo, Simalungun, Mandailing, and Pakpak. It provides accurate transliteration between Latin and Batak scripts, an Aksara keyboard with variant characters, a step-by-step generator for converting Latin text, and a concise history and tutorial to learn the writing system.

Built for learners, designers, and cultural enthusiasts, the extension includes a photo designer with over 50 Latin fonts and 5 Batak fonts, ornaments (Gorga, Retret, Pinar, Bolang, Gerga) for decoration, automatic pre-transliteration, file import/export, and social sharing. Credits and references are included for transparency. Use Aksara Batak to create shareable script images, generate accurate transliterations, and preserve Batak writing traditions in digital content.
