OpenAny: All Document Reader

One small app that opens practically any file, right on your phone.

OpenAny opens PDF, Word (.docx and older .doc), Excel (.xlsx, .xls, .csv, .ods), PowerPoint (.pptx and older .ppt), OpenDocument (.odt, .odp), RTF, emails (.eml, .msg), contacts (.vcf), calendars (.ics), GPS tracks (.gpx, .kml), multi-page TIFF scans, photos (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF, SVG and more), video (MP4, MKV, WebM, MOV and more), audio (MP3, M4A, FLAC, WAV, OGG, Opus), EPUB books, ZIP and TAR archives, fonts, Markdown, plain text and source code.

Your files stay on your phone:

* Every file is opened on the device. Nothing you open is ever uploaded.
* No file names, file paths or search terms are ever sent anywhere.
* No storage permission needed for the file picker, shared files or folders you grant
* Optional all-files access, asked for only if you open the "All files" browser
* No ads, no advertising ID, no accounts, no sign-in

OpenAny collects anonymous usage statistics (Google Firebase Analytics) to learn which file types people open and which fail, so the right things get fixed. It covers file types and app settings, never the files themselves, their names or your searches, and you can switch it off in Settings. Details are in the privacy policy.

Honest limits: OpenAny is a viewer, not an editor. Complex slides render approximately, spreadsheet charts are not drawn, and .rar and .7z archives are not supported.
