AJA DataCalc

AJA DataCalc is a specialized Chrome extension designed for video professionals to accurately compute storage needs for various video and audio media files. Supporting a wide range of industry-standard formats such as AJA Raw, Apple ProRes, DVCProHD, HDV, XDCAM, DV, CineForm, REDCODE, Avid DNxHD, Apple Intermediate, and more, it caters to professionals working with formats from NTSC and PAL to 8K resolution.

The intuitive interface allows users to adjust settings and calculate storage requirements all within a single screen featuring easy controls and a clear display. Media durations can be entered in diverse units like days, hours, seconds, or frames (using timecode mode). Storage results toggle between GB and TB, while time results can be viewed in multiple formats. Additionally, users can save frequently used presets for quick access and optionally email summary information directly from the extension.
