Features & Capabilities

AirWatch Relay is a Chrome extension designed to facilitate the enrollment of fully managed Android devices into Workspace ONE UEM by leveraging Google's Work Managed Device mode. This app streamlines device provisioning through an efficient staging process using a parent device equipped with AirWatch Relay to configure child devices.

By communicating via NFC, AirWatch Relay sets the device date/time, connects to Wi-Fi, downloads and installs the latest AirWatch Agent version, establishes device ownership silently, and auto-enrolls devices into AirWatch. This ensures devices are factory reset and properly configured for corporate management, simplifying IT administration. Note that the child device must support NFC and be in a factory reset state, and the process requires Android Beam, which is not available from Android 10 onwards.
