Air Fleet War is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up game. You pilot a fighter jet across the sky, destroying waves of enemy aircraft, collecting power-ups, and challenging powerful bosses. Keep pushing forward as far as you can!

### Core Gameplay

#### Level Progression

- The game tracks your flight distance (in km). The farther you fly, the higher the level.
- Each level consists of multiple enemy waves, ending with a BOSS fight.
- Defeat the BOSS to advance to the next level with stronger enemies.

#### Enemy Types

| Type | Description |
|------|-------------|
| Small Fighter | Fast, low HP — common grunt |
| Medium Fighter | Higher HP, moderate attack power |
| BOSS | Extremely high HP with multi-phase attack patterns and dense bullet hell |

> Bosses change attack phases based on remaining HP (e.g., >80%, >60%, >40%), becoming increasingly aggressive.

### Power-Up System

Defeating enemies may drop UFOs. Collect them for various buffs:

### Aircraft Upgrade System

Upgrade your jet from the main menu:

| HP | Maximum health — how much damage your jet can take |
| Firepower | Increases bullet damage output |
| Attack Speed | Increases bullet firing rate |
| Armor | Reduces incoming damage (calculated from firepower & speed) |

Damage Formula:
> Physical Damage = ceil(Attack² / (Attack + Armor × 5))

This formula applies to both player vs. enemy and enemy vs. player.
