Sheikh Ahmed Omar Hashem is a professor of hadith and its sciences at Al-Azhar University, a member of the Islamic Research Academy and a former member of the Egyptian People's Assembly.
Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem was born in the village of Bani Amer, the center of Zagazig in Sharkia Governorate, and he was born on February 6, 1941
🔶 Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem graduated from the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion, Al-Azhar University in 1961. He obtained the international license in 1967, then was appointed as a teaching assistant in the Department of Hadith at the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion, obtained a master’s degree in Hadith and its sciences in 1969, then obtained a doctorate in the same specialty, and became a professor Hadith and its Sciences in 1983, then he was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion in Zagazig in 1987, and in 1995 he held the position of President of Al-Azhar University.
