This application automatically calculates the irrigation rate for each of your crops. Droptima downloads information about weather conditions (temperature, wind, sunshine), supplements it with data that you enter yourself (precipitation, crop sowing time, parameters of your irrigation system) and every morning gives you an exact recommendation - how much water your crop needs to give today ?
If you have a tensiometer in the field to monitor the current soil moisture, then you can enter its readings into a special application window and the calculation of the irrigation rate will be even more accurate.
The application has been tested and verified on hundreds of irrigated fields in Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Azerbaijan. It helps eliminate mistakes with watering even where you cannot assess the condition of the soil visually (growing on mulch film or underground drip irrigation).
