Agribarter

Agribarter lets farmers trade crops, matching based on shared interests.

Agribarter is a crop barter system that allows farmers to trade crops without using money. Users can set their crop preferences, find matching barter partners, and chat within the app to negotiate exchanges. The system ensures fairness by allowing users to rate and review each other only after completing a transaction.

The app features a smart matching algorithm that connects users based on shared crop interests, a secure chat system for communication, and a transaction process that includes acceptance, pending, and completion statuses to ensure smooth exchanges.

We developed this app as our Capstone Project for 2025 at South East Asian Institute of Technology, Tupi, South Cotabato. Agribarter was created by Pototan, Jubert; Detorio, John Rey; and Siton, Reah. And publishing this app here is a final requirement for Capstone Project 2025.
