Smart Track Client is an app designed to manage GPS-enabled devices across various environments such as fleet operations, asset monitoring, or vehicle tracking. It requires a server instance to work with, and it connects to the server to collect, store, and analyze real-time location data.

[Important Notice regarding Accessibility Service]

To provide a critical safety feature—allowing users to trigger an immediate SOS emergency alert using a physical hardware button sequence even when the app is closed or running in the background—Smart Track Client utilizes the AccessibilityService API.

The AccessibilityService API is strictly limited to detecting physical hardware button presses to trigger the emergency event within the app. The AccessibilityService itself does NOT collect, stream, or log user data, texts, or screen content. Once the alert is triggered by the service, the app's core tracking system utilizes the standard device location permissions (separately granted by the user) to transmit coordinates to your designated management server.
