AfrikOSS is the AfrikPay Agent wallet management application.
AfrikOSS is an AfrikPay product which aims agents to manage their AfrikPay wallet. AfrikPayTM is a value-added remote payment platform optimized for Africa. AfrikPay is the result of the pooling of the experience of entrepreneurs from several continents in financial and value-added services. Built on NSDT* technology (the most innovative and secure technology in remote financial services), this pan-African project aims to bring Africa into the reality of the digital economy. This is achieved by setting up financial services based on the optimization of telecom supports: the Internet and mobile phones. AfrikPay thus revolutionizes a world previously marked by the predominance of physical transactions, which are inadequate for a world where the digital economy is expanding at an unprecedented rate. Moreover, it has been shown that this is a source of sclerosis, slowness, corruption and insecurity in transactions.
This real progress, which is the ambition of this project, is intended to bring Africa into an era of sustainable development, as well as to enable the African diaspora through easy access to remote financial services (accessible wherever you are) to support their relatives who have remained in the Continent. Its Cameroonian subsidiary, headquartered in Yaoundé, was created in May 2012 and employs many experienced and dedicated young Cameroonians from various backgrounds. It is a promoter in the first phase of a secure service allowing it "to pay its bills (electricity, water, internet, telephone, cable, etc.), to pay its Tontines, to pay university and school fees for children, to create e-commerce sites, to send and receive money, etc.".
Our main objective is to make the telephone the leading means of payment in Africa, and thus to connect the African continent to the global evolution of the digital world. AfrikPay operates under the authorization of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cameroon, registration No. 45 of 19/11/2012 in accordance with Prime Minister's Decree No. 2010/2429/PM of 12 August 2010.
