Features & Capabilities

Affairs is a multi-functional Chrome extension designed to support Nigerians through three key features. First, it enables users in distress to quickly message pre-selected emergency contacts with real-time location data, bridging gaps left by limited government services. This feature targets adults aged 18 and above, focusing on emergency communication among family and friends.

Second, Affairs promotes mental health awareness by providing emotional support, combating cultural stigmatization, and connecting users to licensed therapists via an in-app matching system. This empowers users to seek help anonymously and without judgment.

Third, Affairs includes a culturally sensitive dating platform tailored for Nigerians locally and abroad. Unique features include planned dialect translation to overcome language barriers faced by millions, adherence to Nigerian cultural norms for relationship building, and enhanced safety measures addressing common security issues in Nigerian online dating environments. Basic services are free with optional Gold and Platinum subscription tiers offering premium features.
