AETHYSS LAUNCHER

Aethyss is a one-page Android launcher with 70 plus icon styles, four design systems, gesture shortcuts, and AMOLED-friendly true black backgrounds on one focused home screen.

ICON STYLES AND THEMING
Every installed app can be themed inside Aethyss without downloading a separate icon pack. Signature styles include Aethyss with obsidian tile and prismatic glow, and Chroma Split with matte tile and chromatic stock-color glow. The collection also includes Celestial, Neon, Hologram, Glass, Material, Pastel, Noir, Thermal, Sketch, Vintage, Woodcut, Glitch, Pixel Art, seasonal holiday looks, and accent-matched Themed Flat, Glass, and Gradient packs. Advanced options include Sphere, Hyper Realistic, and Cartoon Clay.

DESIGN SYSTEMS
Classic provides a sleek dark interface with accent highlights. Brutalist uses bold borders and strong typography. Cosmic applies deep space gradients. Frosty uses translucent glass styling across panels, menus, and dialogs for a unified look.

GESTURES
Draw letter shortcuts on the home screen to launch apps, tools, and custom actions you assign. Gesture trails add animated feedback while you draw, with themes such as Neon, Stardust, Fire, Ice, and Aurora.

NYX ASSISTANT
Nyx is built into Aethyss for search, opening apps, notes, guidance, and everyday help. On Google Play builds, Nyx cannot turn on the status bar overlay, volume panel, or accessibility service using voice. You must enable those features yourself in Aethyss Settings so you stay in control.

LAUNCHER FEATURES
Enjoy one-page home layout, instant fuzzy app search, smart folders, and hidden apps. Quick Apps on triple-tap opens favorites. A music widget shows now-playing information. A step counter tracks daily steps when allowed. More than 84 curated dark wallpapers are included. Place standard Android widgets on the home screen. Aethyss Keyboard matches the dark theme with emoji and optional writing tools. Backup and restore saves your layout and preferences locally on your device.

OPTIONAL STATUS BAR AND VOLUME PANEL
These tools are off by default. Open Status Bar or Volume Panel in Aethyss Settings, read the in-app disclosure, and grant display-over-other-apps permission if prompted. Status Bar Overlay lets you customize bar colors, icons, clock, and battery display. Volume Panel shows a custom volume interface and includes Preview from settings. To map hardware volume keys to the custom panel, you may optionally enable Aethyss Services under Android Accessibility after the disclosure and your manual confirmation in system Settings. Voice commands cannot enable overlays or accessibility for you.

PREMIUM
A one-time premium purchase unlocks all icon styles, 16 accent colors, every design system, gesture customization, icon sizing, unlimited folders and hidden apps, the full wallpaper library, backup and restore, and expanded Quick App slots.

PRIVACY

PERMISSIONS
Wallpaper permission sets home and lock screen images. Installed apps permission fills the app drawer. Boot permission resumes the launcher after restart when Aethyss is your home app. Internet is used for crash reporting only. Notifications access is optional for icon badge counts. Activity recognition powers the step counter. Display over other apps is optional and used only for status bar and volume overlays after you enable them. Accessibility is optional: Aethyss Services handles volume keys and status bar layering only after in-app disclosure and manual enable in system Settings, and is never started by voice.
