AetherVortex Player is a free, ad-free local music player for Android. It is built for people who keep their own music files and want a clean, fast and premium player without subscriptions, tracking-heavy discovery feeds or forced cloud accounts.

Play your local MP3, FLAC, WAV, OPUS, OGG and M4A/AAC library with rich file details, real waveform seek, queue controls, shuffle, repeat and folder-first browsing. AetherVortex reads format, bitrate, sample rate, bit depth, channels and ReplayGain-style loudness data where available, so your library feels organized instead of anonymous.

Audio tools are part of the core experience. Level Match helps reduce loudness jumps between tracks, Volume Trim lets in-app volume changes stay controlled without adding max-volume PCM boost, and headphone EQ profiles can tune playback for supported headphones. On supported builds, Native ExoPlayer playback is available with a Media3 DSP path for consistent audio processing.

AetherVortex also fits normal Android use. Use lockscreen controls, media notifications, Bluetooth/headset controls, an Android home screen widget and Android Auto browse/playback support. Import and export playlists as JSON or M3U8, manage favorite folders, hide folders you do not want in your library, and keep metadata corrections inside the app.

Lyrics and LRC synced lyrics are supported through local song info overrides. Paste or import lyrics, then follow the active line while the track plays. The Now Playing screen keeps the important details close: artwork, title, artist, quality badges, waveform seek and a focused playback layout.

AetherVortex is also connected to the AetherVortex Records identity through an offline AVR Picks section and share-card artwork export. It stays useful as a standalone player first, while giving the app its own visual character.
