In the world of Aethermere, sorcery known as Arcana was bound into cards — fragments of power given form. But the Emperor coveted that power, seized every card in the land, and outlawed the game itself.

You are the grandchild of a legendary, exiled Card Master. All you have are the worn cards your grandfather Aldric left behind. From a tavern at the edge of the world, your journey to take the cards back begins.

■ Learn it in 30 seconds. Master it for life.
- Your hand holds 5 cards; every card has a number on each side
- Place a card: if its side beats the adjacent enemy side, the card flips
- When all 9 cells are filled, the color holding more cards wins
That is the whole rulebook — yet the endgame becomes a battle of reading moves ahead.

Every victory lets you claim one card from your opponent's hand. Complete a collection of 54 arcana, each painted in ornate Art-Nouveau gold.

From a deserter at the frontier to the Emperor on his obsidian throne — a story mode that sharpens its fangs across ten stages, ending against an AI that reads the board several moves deep.
