Improving MI Practices

IMP is an effort to raise awareness and to support the recovery efforts of individuals and families facing the challenges of mental illness and substance use disorders. IMP is intended to be a continually improving resource, adjusted as needed, to best meet the needs of stakeholders across Michigan. We believe offering opportunities to improve provider’s knowledge and skills through education, resources, and engagement— we all can promote a brighter, healthier future for everyone. IMP is supported with federal Community Mental Health block grant funds through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS), the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Administration (BHDDA), the Community Practices and Innovations Section (CPI) and the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan (CMHA).
