The Hegemony controls the sectors, and it is your job to lead the resistance. But in this war, your enemies are only half the battle. You must balance the demands of your superiors, manage the Rules of Engagement, and keep your crews alive as you push deeper into hostile territory.

DEEP HEX-GRID TACTICS - Every maneuver matters. Navigate your ships across a fully realized hex-grid battlefield where positioning and facing are the keys to victory. Manage directional shields, utilize size-based armor systems, and unleash devastating broadsides. From nimble strike fighters to massive dreadnoughts, every vessel has its own distinct role. Plan your moves in the Command Phase, allocate your Command Tokens to critical systems, and watch the chaos unfold during the Execution Phase. Use evasive snap maneuvers to dodge incoming torpedoes or reroute power to push your phase disruptors past their limits.

DYNAMIC CAMPAIGN - The war against the Hegemony is fought one sector at a time. No two missions are ever the same thanks to a robust procedural scenario generator. One deployment might have you executing a swift assassination on an elite Hegemony flagship, while the next forces you to hold the line and protect civilian transports, siphon data from heavily guarded comm relays, or siege a fortified orbital station.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS - Space is a dangerous battlefield. You must navigate treacherous environments that can turn the tide of combat in an instant. Hide your corvettes in ion nebulas to mask their sensor signatures, weave through dense asteroid belts to break line of sight, or drag enemy interdictors into the crushing pull of a gravity well. Beware of unpredictable solar flares that can strip hull integrity from both sides.

THE FLEET IS YOURS TO COMMAND - Between battles, return to the Drydock Shipyard to lick your wounds and prepare for the next push. Spend your hard-earned Requisition Points and Fleet Favor to purchase new ships, repair critical damage, and upgrade your fleet. But be warned, war takes a toll. Ships that take heavy fire will suffer lasting trauma traits, and you must decide whether to spend precious resources repairing them or sending them back to the front lines.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT - You are a commander, but you still answer to high command. Navigate complex Rules of Engagement that dictate your objectives and limitations on the battlefield. Bend the rules to secure a tactical advantage, but risk losing the Fleet Favor you need to requisition advanced ships and tech.
