ActronConnect is a versatile app designed for Android devices that enables users to wirelessly control their ActronAir Ducted Air Conditioners from anywhere with internet connectivity. We discovered a bug in the ActronConnect module when trying to change the wifi network it hangs off. Doing a full factory reset on the module does not actually clear the previous wifi SSID that the unit searches for! If the old network is still available, the module reconnects to that after a full reset and therefor does not present its ActronConnect setup SSID to connect to for initial setup. Had me convinced the module was dead. Almost forked out $600 for a new one when it was still OK.

Fantastic unit for heating and cooling but absolutely rubbish as an app. Most unreliable app I have ever installed on any device. If only a little more time, care, and thought went into it, it would be the complete package . Waste of time installing and waste of space on my device
