ActivaApp is a mobile application intended for recording physical activity and designed specifically for use by teachers and students in educational centers.

The main functionality of ActivaApp is the recording of the steps taken by each user. However, it includes other features that make it interesting and attractive. Firstly, it has a wide range of avatars that are unlocked as you use the application, walk or run, and level up. Secondly, it presents a system of daily, weekly and monthly challenges that are renewed periodically and motivate the practice of physical activity, allowing users to unlock exclusive avatars by achieving certain challenges. It is specifically designed for use in the educational field and allows teachers to include their educational center and their different classes in the application to register all students. In addition, the application is synchronized with a web page where you can see the general statistics of a user, class or educational center, as well as export the data to Excel using a very simple system, which facilitates its use in the educational field to make valid records of the physical activity carried out by the student body outside of school hours. This makes it a tool for evaluating and controlling the physical activity of schoolchildren, which allows assessing compliance with the healthy standards for this population established by the competent bodies. Fourthly, it includes a record of the activities carried out, allowing users to know parameters such as steps taken, kilometers traveled, session time and calories used in that activity. Fifthly, a novel aspect that ActivaApp provides is the inclusion of an assessment of the perceived effort at the end of physical activity. This allows a record of the intensity perceived by the user. Sixthly, a ranking of steps taken with the application is included in which the user can see their position among all users of the application. Seventhly, ActivaApp encourages healthy habits since, in addition to promoting walking or running, phrases are included in the application's loading periods related to healthy advice on other healthy habits related to sleep, eating or exercise. sedentary time, among others. And, eighthly, a reward system is included based on the distance traveled in each activity. If during the activity the step goal set by the application has been completed, a bonus is awarded to the user. All these elements make ActivaApp a gamified and attractive application for the school community, and with great applicability for teachers. Ninthly, the registration of training sessions can be done without being connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi.

Regarding the use of ActivaApp, it has a simple interface designed for the target audience (schoolchildren). However, it includes customization elements, such as avatars; gives the possibility of activating or deactivating the notifications that we will receive on our mobile phone; and allows you to activate or deactivate access to the application through biometric authentication. All this makes the application easier to use. To the above we must add that ActivaApp is a completely free application for both users, teachers and educational centers.

Finally, at ActivaApp we also take into account the security and privacy of the users, so no external user will be able to access the application without being previously accepted. Furthermore, to access a class or create an educational center it will be necessary for the teachers or an application manager to do this procedure.
