AC-Tracker

AC-Tracker is an app designed to accompany you on excursions, hikes, and outdoor trails.

With AC-Tracker, you can prepare maps before leaving, track your location, record your route, and view useful information directly on the screen.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Offline Maps

Download maps from the integrated catalog and use them even without an Internet connection.

Before downloading, you can open the map's coverage image in your browser to check the area covered.

• Offline Location Search

Search for cities, towns, villages, and other places in the data associated with the displayed map.

The results show the location name, type, and coordinates. Selecting a result automatically centers the map on the selected location.

• Recording GPX Tracks

Record your route during your activity and check:

• distance traveled;
• elapsed time;
• elevation gain;
• elevation loss;
• location and coordinates.

Once you're finished, you can name the track and save it in GPX format.

• Track Management

Open, import, rename, share, export, or delete GPX tracks.

You can display a saved track on the map and hide it without removing it from your device.

• Elevation Profile

If the track contains elevation data, AC-Tracker can display the elevation profile along the route.

By scrolling the graph, you can locate the point on the map corresponding to an ascent, descent, or a specific elevation.

• Position and Terrain Data

While using the track, you can consult:

• latitude and longitude;
• elevation provided by GPS;
• elevation derived from DEM data;
• atmospheric pressure, if your device has a barometric sensor.

The relief shading helps you better read mountains, valleys, and slopes.

• Compass

The compass displays the direction in degrees and the cardinal point, along with the coordinates and available elevation information.

• Photos associated with the route

Take photos from the app and add information such as location and elevation. While recording, images can be linked to points on the GPX track.

BEFORE YOU GO

Download maps and any necessary data in advance, especially before heading out in areas with limited network coverage.
Maps and associated data can be large. Downloading via mobile data will use your plan's data and may incur carrier charges. Unlimited Wi-Fi is recommended for larger files.

AC-Tracker is not intended for emergencies or critical safety. Maps, GPS location, elevation, and other data may be inaccurate, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.

When undertaking outdoor activities, carry appropriate tools, check trail conditions, and do not rely solely on the app for navigation or safety.
