App crashes when I select the Weight tab. Google Fit will not allow permission to this app to track my steps and weight even when I authorize it to. I started this program after a coworker recommendation and opt to do the DNA test, but the first 6 weeks I was unable to sign into the app because of some outage. After finally accessing it and see all the issues then finding all the years old reviews talking about the same problems I am not confident my DNA will be safe in their hands. FIT THE APP!
I got it to work on my phone .,But I already do not like the scale and weight tracking ...I can't delete the miss readings/ wrong weights . I wish , I could turn off the synking to the scale .... If any one else uses my scale or I have forgot to take of excess clothing... Then want to weigh again .I can't delete the un needed ones..... Grrrrr Also There is 3 of us in the house with their one scales....
Needs a lot of work. 1) app closes, it doesn't stay running when you exit. 2) when viewing steps and weight history, it really lags (even though there's only about 2 records for me). 3) activity trackers compatibility list is tiny (GFit and Fitbit only). 4) recipe pictures don't match the item in the recipe. Items are blatantly missing from the ingredient list. 5) Recipes have no nutritional information. 6) still can't find where I'm supposed to upload meal photos and my waist circumference.
It's below average missing key abilities. This app needs notifications to record your daily tasks at EOD. I forget to log my workouts and food and don't remember until the next day. Would be nice if you can go back, at least, 1 day. The weight loss percentage makes no sense. It should be milestones and adjustable. My initial goal was to lose 15% and it stays that way when I pass it. Fix these and my rating goes up. More than happy to give more feedback.
This is the worst app I have seen. It often shows "New versión available" without options to do it later or not update it at all. When going to the store it only shows "open" option. Clicking on it takes you back to the "New versión available" message. It is not working most of the time.
Update 7/21, Like others noted the app now shows an update dialog, click install and it opens play store, but no install option. Unfortunately this app just gets worse, a true cow pattie for sure.. While I like the newtopia program, this app is just not that great. I connect it to Google fit, steps don't come over. I try to connect to a scale, it shows the activity connect screen. The old app seemed a bit better in teens of connectivity... perhaps I'm missing something...
The app seemed to work okay until the latest update. Now whenever I open the app, it tells me to install the update but when I click on that it takes me to the App Store but only gives me the option to open the app, not to install an update.
Opened up the installed application. It said there was a new version. I clicked on install and it was an infinite loop asking to install. When playstore opened it only offered to Uninstall or open the app. It was almost as if I already had the current version.
Horrible app never syncs. Keeps saying to download update but no updates available. Getting help is Horrible since it always has to go to another person or department. Apps needs serious IT help. Their fix to sync is to open the app every day. HA like anyone will remember to do that, and can't even open because of the phantom app update needed that isn't there to install.
App had a message saying "A new version of the Newtopia App is now available" but there is no update in the Play store. Makes the app completely unusable, as soon as you try to close the message it pops back up again.
