RetroTAP: Speed. Precision. Survival.

How fast are your reflexes? RetroTAP is a minimalist arcade challenge designed to push your reaction time to its absolute limit. Tap the ball, climb the levels, and don't let the timer run out.

THE CHALLENGE:
The game starts calm, but it won't stay that way. Every 10 hits, you level up. As you progress, the ball shrinks, the speed intensifies, and the background begins to pulse with the rhythm of the game. One miss could be your last.

CORE MECHANICS:

Beat the Clock: An inactivity timer is constantly draining. You have to stay aggressive—sit still too long, and your life pool will vanish. Misses are counted against you, and perfect levels earn a bonus.

Progressive Difficulty: Watch the world transform as you level up. From the starfield of Level 1 to the vibrating neon grids of the late-game, the environment reacts to your skill.

Combo Mastery: Chain 3 quick hits to trigger Combo Mode. Quick hits add to the rewards, giving you massive score bonuses and extra lives—essential for surviving the higher tiers.

The Prestige Gate: Beat Level 10 to enter the Prestige Levels. The ball explodes, the rules change, and the speed reaches terminal velocity. Only the elite can handle the "Bird" tiers.

Hall of Fame: Your best runs are immortalized. Compete against your past self and the world to claim the #1 spot in the Hall of Fame.
