Chess, but your pieces aren't abstract shapes — they're armies. Janissaries and cannon. Viking raiders and war elephants. Byzantine cataphracts and Spartan hoplites. Every piece is a soldier, hand-drawn in pixel art and standing on a wooden board in a candle-lit hall.

A REAL CHESS ENGINE
Not a toy. Full rules including castling, en passant, promotion, stalemate, threefold repetition and the fifty-move rule. The engine searches deep using a transposition table, killer moves and null-move pruning, and it runs on a background thread so the board never freezes while it thinks.

SEVEN LEVELS
From Novice to Master. Level 3 gives you a fair game. Level 7 searches nine moves ahead and does not hand out free material.

BUILT TO FEEL GOOD
Pieces lunge, land, and shatter. The cannon fires with a real blast. Every sound is generated live — wooden clacks modelled on how real wood rings, hooves on stone, a bronze bell for promotion. Nothing is a stock sample.
