This is a phenomenal game, but unfortunately it seems like it has several bugs that make it almost unplayable. the one that I come across the most is that I'd like to use a gamepad to play it, but whenever I press b the game minimizes. unfortunately, pressing b is kind of important. would be happy to give this game a higher rating if it got a few updates to resolve these kinds of issues.

User Reviews
Reviewers laud the visuals, soundtrack, and engaging Zelda-like combat, plus a solid mobile port with offline play and a 60fps option. However, repeated concerns include poor or limited controller support, imprecise touch controls without customization, performance bugs on some devices, and occasional guidance gaps. Overall, the game is a strong port with room for improvement in input options and stability.
Pros
- Stunning pixel art visuals and a superb, memorable soundtrack.
- Excellent mobile port that translates well to touch, with offline play and strong core gameplay.
- Engaging Zelda-like combat and exploration; deep, rewarding gameplay.
- Performance options like a 60fps toggle and ongoing improvements improve smoothness.
- Long-term appeal as an indie classic with high replay value.
Cons
- No native controller support and limited compatibility with popular controllers (Backbone/8bitdo, etc.).
- Touch controls can be imprecise for dash and platforming; no control customization or fixed joystick option.
- Performance issues and bugs on some devices, including sluggish performance, frame drops, and crashes (e.g., dash shop pauses).
- Occasional confusing early guidance and lack of in-game explanations.
Recent reviews
One of my favorite games! But it's been out for a while and they still haven't fixed the controller issue. on Backbone and PS5 controllers, the B (or circle) button causes the game to minimize. I assume this happens with every kind of controller, and it needs fixing. the last review to comment on this was 8 months ago.
